Nicole joined Pillinger Miller Tarallo in 2022 after working as in-house trial counsel for two large insurance companies. While working as in-house counsel, Nicole was responsible for managing a high-volume, high-pressure caseload consisting of automobile liability, premises liability, labor law and uninsured/underinsured motor vehicle arbitrations.
Nicole is an experienced trial lawyer who has handled hundreds of personal injury matters during the course of her career. In this regard, she is capable of analyzing the facts and evaluating the insured’s liability, potential damages exposure, contractual responsibilities, indemnification and insurance coverages issues ahead of trial.
Nicole has been successful at drafting motions and arguing them at numerous New York State Court venues. Similarly, Nicole has been victorious at settling cases at mediations and court conferences by developing relationships with plaintiff’s attorneys, co-defendants, judges and mediators. However, Nicole has successfully achieved defense verdicts in her clients’ favor on cases that were unable to be resolved at a pre-trial juncture.
Nicole also had her own Plaintiff’s practice with unique experience in Sports Agent work. She negotiated a minor league baseball contract for her brother, a knuckleball pitcher, to the Tampa Bay Rays.
Nicole also serves as a Director on the board for Angels of Light – Hudson Valley. The mission of Angels of Light is to provide financial assistance and holiday gift-giving for children and families living in the Hudson Valley battling a serious or life-threatening illness. Angels of Light is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
Nicole earned her Bachelor’s degree, magna cum laude, from Marist College and her law degree, cum laude, from Pace University School of Law. Nicole is licensed to practice law in New York and New Jersey. Nicole is also a New York State licensed Notary Public.
