Robert began his journey as a United States Marine in 2007 by going to Parris Island, South Carolina, for boot camp. After boot camp, he traveled for the next several months for training, including the Navy Justice School in Newport, Rhode Island.
Robert had the honor of working as a litigation paralegal. Starting in Southern California on Camp Pendleton for 3 years (2008-2011) in the military’s busiest legal department. He handled all levels of criminal cases, from disobeying orders to the worst crimes imaginable. Robert was awarded the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal while working at the Legal Service Support Section on Camp Pendleton.
He then continued his career to Norfolk and Williamsburg, Virginia, where he was the Legal Chief for the Marine Corps Security Force Regiment for a little over a year (2011-2012). Also, Robert was in charge of administrative separations, traveling to bases that fell under the Regiment’s command to ensure they were up to date on their systems and methods. He was in charge of bringing the Regiment up to standard with the systems he created in California.
After finishing his contract with the United States Marine Corps, he moved back to Buffalo, New York, to finish his Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and Government from Ashford University. Robert completed his degree in a little over 2 years. After graduating, he moved to New York City (2016) for the Accelerated Law Program at the Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University. While in Law School, he worked for Kissling Interests, Inc., and the Bronx County Family Court under Judge Peter Passidomo. Robert graduated in May 2018 and moved back to Buffalo to prepare for the Bar Exam.
Robert sat for and passed the July 2018 New York State Bar Exam. He was sworn in on January 9, 2019, in the 4th Department of New York. Following being sworn in, he handled Personal Injury and Workers’ Compensation cases as an associate attorney for plaintiffs/claimants.
Currently, Robert handles civil cases for Pillinger Miller Tarallo LLP, in Buffalo, NY. Robert was appointed to the Trial Lawyers Executive Committee and the Young Lawyers Executive Committee. Robert is a liaison between the two sections for the New York State Bar Association.
