Mr. Matthew D. Katz is an Associate at Pillinger, Miller, Tarallo, LLP. Mr. Katz has been in the legal field since 2016 and has experience in a diverse range of complex practice areas including automobile, construction, general liability, insurance coverage and workers compensation. He specializes in defense litigation advocating for property owners, business owners, corporations and other corporate entities.

Prior to joining PMT, Mr. Katz was an Associate at a New York based real estate law firm where he handled residential real estate closings and litigation representing co-op and condo residents against their respective board of directors.

Mr. Katz earned a B.A. in Political Science with a concentration in Law and Politics from CUNY Queens College in 2018 and a J.D. from Pace University’s Elizabeth Haub School of Law in 2021. Mr. Katz was selected for the Haub Law Guided Research Program while in law school, during which time he researched and wrote a paper on comparisons between the Economic Stabilization Act of 2008 and the 2020 Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Securities Act.
