Before joining the firm, Jacklyn spent four years as an associate with another local insurance defense firm. While there, she handled a wide array of cases ranging from automobile accidents, premise liability, dram shop liability, and construction/labor law. She was also the lead associate assigned to assist the managing partner in a multi-million dollar federal discrimination lawsuit
Prior to her insurance defense work, Jacklyn worked for a small general practice firm in New Rochelle, handling criminal, contractual, real estate, and probate matters. She is licensed in California, where she practiced federal criminal defense and provided pro bono legal services to the marines and sailors, military spouses, and veterans aboard Camp Pendleton in Oceanside, California, where she counseled clients in family, tax, contractual and landlord-tenant disputes.
