Harminda joined Pillinger Miller Tarallo in 2016. She is an Associate Attorney handling general, premises, and automobile liability matters for the firm. She also defends Workers’ Compensation claims on behalf of employers and carriers. Harminda is actively involved in all aspects of litigation from initiation to resolution.
Prior to joining Pillinger Miller Tarallo, Harminda was an Assistant Public Defender with the Berks County Public Defender’s Office in Reading, Pennsylvania. While there, she represented indigent clients in criminal matters including, but not limited to: DUIs, thefts, drug possessions, assaults, and sex crimes. She has successfully defended clients at trial, negotiated guilty pleas, and dismissed cases by way of dispositive motions. Before becoming an Assistant Public Defender, Harminda was an attorney at Aivazoglou & Mikropoulos. While there, she represented plaintiffs in matters of general liability, premises liability, automobile liability and Workers’ Compensation claims. In addition to handling all pre-trial aspects of the Workers’ Compensation claim, she has regularly attended administrative hearings before Workers’ Compensation judges.
