Sara is a Registered Nurse with over 20 years of experience in multiple specialty areas including Intensive Care, Interventional Radiology and Emergency as well as Neurosurgical and Cardiothoracic Surgery.
During law school, she was associate editor of the Thomas Cooley Law Journal, a Moot Court board member and received numerous awards for academic excellence. She also interned with the Michigan Office of the Attorney General, Corrections Division, where she successfully assisted in the defense of police officers, prison guards, and other municipal employees in lawsuits filed under 42. U.S.C 1983, and received accolades from a sitting federal Judge during the trial. She was also chosen to assist in the defense of the Governor of Michigan in a commutation lawsuit.
After law school, she began her career in the defense of professionals, institutions, and corporations in lawsuits involving medical malpractice, general liability and Labor Law in New York and Federal Courts. In combining medicine with law, she brings a unique skill set in the ability to accurately and succinctly analyze and summarize complex medical records in all facets of litigation.
