Paralegal in Elmsford, NY with New York, New Jersey Experience

Job Description:

All applicants must have 3-5 years’ experience:

  • In Insurance Defense and General Liability Litigation
  • Handling automobile and premises liability cases
  • Filing cases via NJ Courts and NY Courts
  • Retrieving records from New Jersey and New York Municipal, Administrative, Trial, Chancery, Appellate Courts
  • Retrieving records from New Jersey and New York Municipal State, County and Local Governments and related agencies
  • Requesting adjournments and scheduling proceedings in  New Jersey and New York Municipal, Administrative, Trial, Chancery, Appellate Courts
  • With New Jersey Practice regarding motions, discovery, pleadings, deadlines, communicating with the court, coordinating witnesses for depositions, de bene esse depositions and pre-trial exchanges
  • Understand the requirements of  R.P.C. 5.3

Pay: $55k – $70k  per year
