Now the Adult Survivors Act has been signed into law by Governor Hochul.
Beginning November 24, 2022, the law creates a one-year window for the revival of time-barred civil lawsuits based upon alleged sex abuse committed against victims who were 18 or older when the abuse occurred. We will keep you posted about other legislation as the legislature continues its work.
