Pillinger Miller Tarallo, LLP successfully secured the full dismissal of a multi-defendant personal injury action in Bronx County Supreme Court, bringing the matter to a close with no further costs or liability for its clients.
In Jammond Scott v. Matar Ba, Same Day Delivery Service Inc., Structural Preservation Systems, LLC, Advanced Construction Equipment Corp., East Harlem Pilot Block HDFC, and Arco Management Corp. (Supreme Court, Bronx County, Index No. 25552/2018E – PMT: General Liability, Construction, and Complex Multi-Party Litigation), PMT represented key defendants in a complex construction-related personal injury case.
Following extensive discovery, PMT filed a motion for summary judgment. While the motion for summary judgment was pending, based on the motion’s high likelihood of success, the case was discontinued with prejudice after settlement between the plaintiff and co-defendants, with no contribution from the PMT defendants.
This outcome reflects PMT’s commitment to achieving efficient, cost-effective resolutions for its clients through skilled negotiation and strategic case management, avoiding unnecessary litigation expense and exposure.
