Patrick’s litigation experience began in law school, where he participated in mock trial and was given the honor to represent St. John’s law school in two separate Country Wide Tournaments.

Since law school, Patrick has honed his craft and litigated many types of matters including both civil and criminal law. As a public defender for Suffolk County Legal Aid Society, he protected the rights of the indigent accused of a crime. During which time, he successfully defended over a thousand clients. He conducted jury selection, jury trials, evidentiary hearings, plea bargains, probation violation hearings, arraignments and sentencings.

He has also served as in-house trial counsel for State-Farm where he defended hundreds of motor vehicle accident claims. During which time, he conducted jury trials, oral arguments on motions, mediations, arbitrations, framed issue hearings, court conferences and hundreds of depositions.
He also has experience in matters including Construction/Labor Law, Motor Vehicle and Premises Liability.

Patrick is also certified in United States Privacy Law, earning his Certified Information Privacy Professional designation (CIPP/US).
