Terry Holmes-Nelson is an accomplished practicing attorney with over 30 years of litigation experience. Terry received her undergraduate degree from the State University College at Buffalo and earned her law degree from Fordham University School of Law in 1991. At Fordham Law School, she was a member of the Environmental Law Review. Terry has extensive litigation experience in a wide variety of matters. She currently focuses on defending clients and their carriers in motor vehicle accident cases, effectively defending clients and making every effort to obtain the best result possible. Terry has litigated all types of civil matters including insurance defense, labor law, automobile, premises liability, and general liability. Terry works in the Litigation Department. Terry has earned the reputation of kindly and vigorously defending clients and obtaining positive efficient results.

Terry has been involved in the community as a Certified Mediator volunteering and helping members of the community bring about effective resolutions to a variety of community disputes. Prior to joining the firm, Terry had her own law practice taking and defending hundreds of depositions and handling court appearances for various law firms including motions, hearings, inquests, and conferences in Supreme, Civil, and Federal Court.
