Marissa originally joined PMT in the fall of 2019 as an intern, and stayed with the firm all three years of law school. Upon graduating with a Juris Doctor from Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University in May of 2022, Marissa advanced to an Associate.

During Marissa’s time in law school she concentrated on environmental law. She was involved with the Food and Farm Business Clinic where she assisted Amish farmers in creating an agricultural cooperative, and a sustainable textile business in forming an LLC. She placed within the top 24 of her 1L Moot Court Competition.

Prior to law school, Marissa graduated cum laude from Rutgers University New Brunswick with a B.S. in Environmental Policy, Institutions and Behavior with a minor in Sustainability. She held leadership positions within her sorority, Alpha Gamma Delta, and was a recruitment counselor for the Rutgers Panhellenic Council. She is involved with the New Jersey alumnae chapter as the philanthropy chair. Marissa also interned with PSEG Institute of Sustainability Studies as part of a project with NJ TRANSIT on the allocation of grant funding for a sustainable electric vehicle bus fleet.

At PMT Marissa has had the opportunity to be involved in cases in a multitude of practice areas. She now focuses on cases regarding automobile accidents, personal injury, dram shop liability, environmental & toxic torts, and general liability.

Marissa is the proud parent of a border collie named Chase. She enjoys participating in pro bono opportunities that involve animal rights and is a proponent of advancing legislation for Courtroom Animal Advocate Programs.
