While attending high school and college, Bill worked the summers as a union carpenter on commercial construction projects in New York City eventually running small jobs as the foreman. After graduating Lehigh University with a degree in civil engineering, Bill was employed as an estimator/project manager for a commercial building contractor. Over the years, Bill was promoted to vice president.

Upon graduating law school, Bill began working for insurance defense firms handling construction related matters. Over the years, he has represented project owners, construction mangers, general contractors, subcontractors and equipment leasing companies as well as architects and engineers in personal injury actions, property damage claims and construction delay claims from inception up to trial and appeals.

Due to Bill’s firsthand knowledge of the construction industry from both the field and office prospective and engineering background, Bill often sees things which may be missed by another attorney. Often the ability to transfer the risk hinges on recognizing which materials are used by a specific trade, union rules and practices or the normal sequence of the construction
