William joined PMT in 2024 and has been a practicing attorney in New York State since 1983, and more recently in Connecticut. He began his career in private practice specializing in all aspects of insurance defense as well as commercial litigation, real estate and general practice.

Thereafter, he was associated with both outside defense firms as well as plaintiff’s firms providing him with a broad range of analytical, practical and early resolution perspectives on all aspects of litigation. Throughout his career, he has handled a wide array of cases including labor law, product liability, property damage, construction defect, medical malpractice, automobile, dram shop, assault, security, and general premises liability. He has handled trials to successful conclusion in many of these areas of expertise.

William last worked as a senior trial attorney for AIG staff counsel for 15 years. While at AIG, he handled numerous high exposure cases in many of these areas of law including 7 & 8 figure labor law cases achieving excellent results in mediation and successfully dismissing or limiting plaintiff’s labor law claims with aggressive summary judgment motions and passing liability onto other parties based on indemnity agreements or obtaining additional insured coverage for clients with successful tender requests.

William’s experience in handling real estate, transactional work, commercial litigation and general practice matters allows him to draw from this diverse knowledge and experience as a tool for the effective defense, analysis and successful resolution of a wide variety of cases.
