Lauren received her Juris Doctorate degree from Fordham Law School where she participated in its federal litigation clinic and received the Archibald Murray Public Interest Award. Lauren is admitted to the Bar in the state of New York, and has also been admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, as well as the United States Court of Appeals, Second Circuit.

Prior to joining the firm, Lauren was a partner at a prominent New York City insurance defense law firm, where she spent over fifteen years litigating primarily labor law and premises liability cases. She has successfully represented multiple different municipalities in both State and Federal Courts, including complex civil rights litigation.

Lauren’s focus continues to be complex legal issues, and specifically dispositive motion practice, appeals and risk transfer. She has drafted briefs and successfully argued many appeals before the New York State Appellate Divisions, as well as motions in the Court of Appeals. She additionally drafted a brief for the New York Court of Appeals which reversed the motion court and Appellate Division below, successfully limiting the defendant’s scope of duty owed to the plaintiff.

Lauren received her undergraduate education from Binghamton University with a Bachelor of Arts in Politics, Philosophy and Law. Her degree was awarded magna cum laude and she was a member of both Phi Beta Kappa and Golden Key Honor Societies.
