Melissa Tsynman graduated from Hofstra Law School where she attended on a full-tuition merit scholarship for the entirety of her law school career. During law school, Melissa became a member of Hofstra’s Labor and Employment Law Journal, where she was later elected to become an Articles Editor for the journal during her 3L year. Prior to law school, Melissa received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Long Island University.
Melissa became acquainted with insurance law early in her career as she gained valuable experience interning at an insurance defense firm during law school. Prior to joining PMT, she worked at two other insurance defense firms handling a wide array of defense litigation matters as well as coverage.
Her experience includes providing coverage opinions regarding issues which include policy interpretation, additional insured status, contractual pass-through/indemnification, and disclaimers of liability and denials of coverage. Additionally, Melissa has been involved in all aspects of litigation, specializing in general liability and construction-related litigation.
Melissa was admitted to practice law before the Courts of New York State in 2017.
