Devika is an experienced litigator who practices in all phases of defense litigation in a variety of matters including labor law, premises liability, products liability, property damage, employment discrimination, maritime law, insurance coverage, and subrogation. Her commitment to aggressively advocate on behalf of her clients has allowed her to successfully brief and argue numerous pre-answer motions to dismiss and summary judgment motions. Her attention to detail and negotiation skills have allowed her to reach favorable settlements. Devika also has trial and appellate experience in both New York and New Jersey. She has succeeded on motions in limine, motions for directed verdicts, and has experience in conducting direct and cross examinations of witnesses at trial.

Devika’s dedication, hard work, and success has been recognized by Super Lawyers which has continuously selected her to the New York Metro Rising Stars list for her excellence in the practice of law from 2016 through 2020.

She is a member of the Women’s Bar Association of the State of New York and the Hudson County Bar Association. While practicing in Manhattan, Devika was an active member of the New York County Lawyers Association, where she was awarded for her outstanding work and dedication to pro bono service by the New York State Unified Court System Office for Justice Initiatives, The New York County Lawyers Association, and the New York State Bar Association. As a pro bono legal counselor, Devika had the opportunity to advise individuals seeking counseling in landlord/tenant, employment, and family law matters.

Devika is a New Jersey native. She speaks fluent Hindi.
